Today's food: granola bar, 2 pancakes with whipped cream, 4 sausage links, yogurt, spaghetti with meatballs, pluot, NY strip steak, 1/2 apple, bowl of peanuts

Today's exercise: run 12 miles (9:56/mile); 44 pushups

This long Saturday run is indicative of an upcoming race. Are you just that motivated, or do you have a new goal in mind?

As unbelievable as this may sound, I am actually just that motivated. Strangely enough, I'm motivated enough to wake up at 5 AM and run 12 miles.

I'd like to set another goal, but haven't really decided what to do yet. So, I want to keep in long run shape so that if I do pick another marathon, I'm always in a state of near-readiness. Trying not to lose what I've gained, in other words.
